Good afternoon Beaverton Community,
Today, we were notified that an another Beaverton Schools' student and staff member has tested positive for COVID-19. Both buildings have been impacted once again.
However, this situation has a significant impact to the Elementary school.
The ENTIRE 5th grade MUST stay home for the whole week of January 11-15. The teachers have laid out plans to continue with instruction virtually. Details for the 5th grade will follow this message.
Mrs. Inscho, the school nurse or the health department will contact you with further information if your child was in direct contact with an infected person. For those that need to be home in quarantine, we will be providing information to continue school at home. We continue to work with the health department to respond to this situation and we are taking every step to protect the health of our staff, students and community.
Thank you for your continued patience and cooperation.

As citizens who serve children and represent their communities, individual school board members face complex and demanding challenges. Yet, few people fully understand the scope
and far-reaching implications of board members’ responsibilities.
All Michiganders should recognize the vital contributions of these men and women and focus attention on the crucial role these elected public officials play in the education of our children.

From all of us to you and yours.

Wanted to take a moment to thank a Beaverton legend, Mr. Bob Frei.
Bob has served approximately 14 years on the Beaverton Board of Education. Last night was Mr. Frei's last Board meeting as a school board member.
However, Mr. Frei continues to be an active member of the community.
Please join me in thanking Bob Frei for his service to Beaverton Schools.
