Good morning Beaverton community,
This is Superintendent Passalacqua.
We are hoping that this message finds everyone safe.
Due to the current situations, we have made some adjustments to our scheduled events.
All online classes will be cancelled for the remainder of the week. Also, staff meetings scheduled for today have been cancelled as well.
School will only be open tomorrow for food distribution from 11am to 2pm. We will have food available at Billings Township hall from 11am to 2pm as well. However, we will not be delivering meals and/or packets to the homes tomorrow.
There is no food distribution on Monday, May 25th due to Memorial Holiday.
We will resume meal & packet pickups next Tuesday.
Packet pickup/student belongings pickup for tomorrow is cancelled, but rescheduled for Tuesday, May 26th, 2020 from 4 to 6pm.
Class of 2020 Parents/Awards night video and tomorrow’s student cruise have also been canceled, but will be rescheduled for next week.

Beaverton Schools is holding a Community Forum ZOOM meeting on Wednesday, May 13, 2020@ 3:30pm.
So much has changed since Gov. Whitmer released her proposed budget for 2020-2021 in February.
There have been so many significant changes over the past months and the reality is, the budget we will adopt this year will be vastly different from the one we had planned to adopt pre-pandemic.
During this meeting, we will address the current landscape of education. All information will be fluid at this point and subject to change after the May 15th Revenue Consensus.
Public comment will be taken in to advisement. Stakeholders that join the meeting may pose questions in the chat for our administration team to take in to consideration as we are adjusting and finalizing next year's budget.
